Seating is general admission; festival capacity is limited.

 

The facility reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person without refund for violating the facility, local, county, or federal laws or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by management.

What are the Box Office hours?

The Festival box office is open 12:30pm the day of the show.  Box office is in the Pavilion directly south of the tennis court at the Galva Park District.

Can I bring lawn chairs?

Yes. We recommend the popular "bag" chairs, however, your "bag" chair is also subject to being searched. You will be asked to leave the "bag" at home or in your car as it will not be allowed into the park grounds.  We ask that you do NOT bring high back lawn chairs as they obstruct the view of your neighbors.

Can I bring a camera to the Festival?

Non-professional camera’s and cell & smart phones are allowed in the venue. No other audio/video recording devices are allowed. The Back Road Music Festival defines professional cameras to be anything with a removable lens, and/or any camera with anything better than a 3x zoom capability, and/or any camera that is 10 mega pixels or better.

Can I bring food or drink into the Festival grounds?

No. No outside beverages or food of any kind is allowed. Once inside the Festival, you can purchase food and drink from a variety of vendors.

Am I allowed to bring a backpack or purse into the Festival?

Small purses and bags will be allowed, however there are certain items that are not permitted and cannot be brought onto The Back Road Music Festival grounds. Back Road Music Festival reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time.

 

Currently, the items that CANNOT be brought into the Festival include, but are not limited to:

• Backpacks

• Large bags

• Coolers

• Other carry-ins

• Oversized umbrellas (golf umbrellas) or umbrellas with a pointed and/or metal tip

• Outside food or beverages

• Coolers

• Cans or glass bottles

• Alcohol, Contraband

• Drugs (NO MARIJUANA)

• Pets (except service animals)

• Video equipment

• Professional cameras

• Recording devices

• Laser pointers

• Coaster wagons

• Drones

• Kites, Frisbees

• Picnic baskets

• Weapons of any kind

Can I get cash at the Festival? Are there ATMs?

Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) machines are located on the festival grounds.

Can I bring a stroller for my child?

Yes, strollers are accepted

Can I bring my service animal with me?

Yes, service animals are allowed, but pets are not.

Is The Back Road Music Festival handicap accessible?

Yes. There are handicap accessible restrooms; handicap parking on Galva Park District Grounds.

What is the ZERO tolerance policy?

The Back Road Music Festival has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY on underage consumption.  Any minors found consuming alcoholic beverages and/or adults providing alcoholic beverages to minors, or anyone causing a disturbance to others at anytime during The Back Road Music Festival will be removed from the facility immediately without a refund.

What if it rains day of show?

The festival will take place rain or shine.  NO tickets will be refunded or exchanged in the event of rain.  All tickets are non-refundable. Small umbrellas will be allowed. 

Medics/EMts on-site?

There will be certified EMT's on-site. 

What if i purchase through a 3rd party retailer stubhub/craigslist etc.?

The purchaser assumes all risk when purchasing from any source other than AN OFFICIAL SOURCE OR directly from event sponsored ticket locations.  

what is the Re-entry policy?

Once you have gone through security checkpoints and have entered the festival, there is a NO RE-ENTRY policy.
